The evening view before rice harvesting begins at Maruyama Senmaida
I went for a bullet drive to see it. (September 3rd)
The landscape of 1,340 terraced rice fields is truly the original landscape of Japan.
I can say it.
I also shot a video because I want as many people as possible to know about it.
Next time I would like to visit during the rice planting season.
You will be amazed by the Senmaida rice fields that spread deep in the mountains.
Senmaida in winter. I visited you the other day. The road to Senmaida was a little narrow in some places, but it was kept in good condition, so we arrived without any trouble. If you go from the roadside station Kumano/Itaya Kurobei no Sato, you will be climbing from the bottom, so you can be overwhelmed by the rice fields as you go.
Place was stunning but hard to reach
The rice fields had finished harvesting and were empty, but the number of rice fields was worthy of the name Senmaida. The rice field is on the slope of a mountain, but there was a parking lot halfway up the mountain where several cars could be parked, as well as a restroom and rest area. It looked like there was a parking lot a little further up.
Next time, I would like to visit after rice planting or before harvesting. However, the road is a little narrow, so if there are a lot of cars coming by, it might be difficult to pass each other.
From Maruyama Senmaida Observation Deck.
The geometrically shaped terraced fields were very beautiful.
It will also be difficult to take care of.
thank you very much.
The view was open and it felt good.
Lovely scenery!
